Clare LEO Lean

CREM Ltd delivered mentoring services to micro and Small Enterprise companies in the Clare region which applied for support under the LEO Lean Mentoring programme. This involved visiting the companies and identifying their business needs and objectives. We ran local presentations on the Principles of Lean, the key basic elements of a Lean production system and provided information on Lean Tools and Techniques.

During the lean mentoring visits we gathered data on each business to identify which of the basic Lean elements would be best fit for a Lean project. From the business analysis, we identified and agreed with the owner which aspect of the analysis would be best suited for roll out of a Lean improvement project with clear defined outcomes. We continued to support the business on their Lean journey by monitoring the progress and quantifying the value of the improvements to demonstrate the benefits of Lean thinking.
